How Hello TUSHY became Reddit’s favorite bidet brand

Before u/hellotushy ever ran an ad, they hit the Front Page via r/FellowKids

For the unfamiliar, r/FellowKids is a community on Reddit dedicated to poking fun at brands trying to be relatable in social media.

Most posts are meant to be derisive toward the brands being featured. But every so often, a brand manages to win the community over.

u/hellotushy runs ads that speak the local language

Memes aren’t just funny pictures with text on them. They’re units of culture, and to use them correctly, a brand must genuinely understand that culture. Hello TUSHY has been officially accepted into the tribe.

And Redditors can’t get enough

Not only do users engage directly with u/hellotushy, they screenshot and post Hello TUSHY’s ads throughout the various meme culture communities. By running ads that speak the community language, they generate significantly better engagement, click-through rates, and earned reach.
