How a little robot named Cozmo got lost on Reddit

Cozmo was a little robot with a big personality

Anki, a robotics company that launched on the Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference in 2010, developed a little toy robot named Cozmo. Cozmo was meant to be a friendly face of robotics. Not only was he a fun digital pet, he was controllable by a visual programming language that helped kids learn to code.

When Wieden+Kennedy approached Reddit to introduce Cozmo to the community, teams combined to develop Cozmo Gets Lost in Reddit—a series of digital escape rooms that required Redditors to vote together on the correct solutions to puzzles. Once all the puzzles were solved, Cozmo was able to reach the Front Page—which he absolutely did.

Redditors navigated rooms like…
